Метод SignedXml.CheckSignature (X509Certificate2, false) не проверяет действительность сертификата

Я пытаюсь проверить подпись, а также сертификат, передав false в методе в качестве второго параметра - SignedXml.CheckSignature(Cert,false) Однако, даже если срок действия используемого сертификата (созданного makecert, как показано в приведенном ниже примере) не истек, CheckSignature() всегда возвращает ложь.

Если вы передадите false (только проверка подписи) в качестве второго параметра, он вернет true. При проверке сертификата проверяется не только время действия, но также флаги использования ключа и цепочка доверия.

Убедитесь, что ваш сертификат одобрен для подписи, и добавьте его в качестве доверенного сертификата в хранилище сертификатов. Это должно заставить его работать.
